　　The final of the second National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will be held from October 26th to 28th in Yantai, Shandong Province. At that time, postdoctoral fellows from all over the country will gather together and compete on the same platform. The National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the largest, highest level, and most extensive national postdoctoral competition held since the implementation of the postdoctoral system in China. It is a concentrated display of the good development environment and work effectiveness of postdoctoral talents in China, a grand event for high-level talents at home and abroad to enhance communication, cooperation, and win-win results, a platform for gathering top intelligence and high-end projects, and an international and high-level event A high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competition. Our province has 16 innovation competition projects, 5 entrepreneurship competition projects, and 10 championship projects, with a total of 31 projects representing our province in the final of the competition. In order to prepare well for the national competition, our province has been conducting an innovation competition, entrepreneurship competition, and the collection of leading projects in the province since May this year. Through active organization and mobilization by various cities and stations, a total of 675 contestants in our province have applied for 144 innovation competition projects and 5 entrepreneurship competition projects, covering new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, biopharmaceutical and health, modern agriculture and food, marine development and application All 7 tracks in other industries. The innovation competition has undergone preliminary rounds within the province, with a total of 16 projects entering the national finals. The entrepreneurship competition has recommended 5 projects within the province to enter the national finals, and the unveiling and leading competition has passed the national finals. A total of 10 projects have entered the national finals. A total of 31 projects of the Liaoning Provincial Team have entered the national finals. This competition will involve over 1500 postdoctoral teams from various provinces (districts, cities) and relevant postdoctoral institutions across the country. The competition focuses on the theme of "Smart Hui Empowers Development and Leading the Future with Bo Chuang", and consists of four categories: innovation competition, entrepreneurship competition, overseas (overseas) competition, and unveiling competition. The competition is divided into seven tracks: new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, biomedicine and health, modern agriculture and food, marine development and application, and other industries. The competition will take the form of on-site project roadshows, with each project lasting 15 minutes, including 8 minutes for project roadshows and 7 minutes for expert questioning and contestant defense. In the final, each track will receive 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, and 6 bronze awards, with several winners. At that time, the award-winning postdoctoral researchers will be awarded the "National Excellent Postdoctoral Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship". In December 2021, the country held the first National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The postdoctoral contestants from Liaoning Province won 2 gold awards, 1 silver award, 1 bronze award, and 8 winning awards. Five of them were awarded the "National Excellent Postdoctoral Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship", covering key industries such as new generation information technology, new energy, biopharmaceuticals and big health, high-end equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture and food, energy conservation and environmental protection. According to the person in charge of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Liaoning postdoctoral system began in 1986 and is one of the earliest provinces in China to carry out pilot postdoctoral work. It has recruited more than 9000 postdoctoral researchers and currently has more than 2500 postdoctoral fellows on site.At present, Liaoning has established 119 postdoctoral research mobile stations, 111 postdoctoral research workstations, and 227 postdoctoral innovation practice bases. In the past five years, the proportion of postdoctoral staff in our province who have left the station to stay in Liaoning has increased from 72% to 76%, with a total of 2380 people leaving the station and 1845 people leaving the station, with a rate of 78%. At the same time, we adhere to the concept of combining cultivation and utilization, focus on leading outstanding young talents to undertake the development of national strategic emerging industries, major scientific and technological breakthroughs, and key technological breakthroughs, cultivate a large number of high-level innovative talents, and achieve a large number of important scientific research achievements. In the past 10 years, 261 professors have emerged from the group of young postdoctoral students who have independently trained and worked in Liaoning. 88 of them have been awarded national level talent titles such as the "Yangtze River Scholar Award Program" young scholar, the "Top Young Talent of the Ten Thousand Talents Program", and the State Council Government Special Allowance Expert. 228 of them have been awarded provincial level talent titles such as Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, Hundred and Ten Million Talents, and Prosperous Liaoning Talents, Led or participated in 673 national and provincial major scientific research projects, with 210 people winning important national and provincial scientific and technological awards.
